Sam Mendes directs and writes this war drama which follows two young soldiers during WWI as they are sent on a dangerous mission that, if successfully carried out, could save the lives of 1,600 British men. Private Schofield (George MacKay) and Private Blake (Dean-Charles Chapman) have been tasked with delivering a message across the enemy line which will save the battalion from a deadly ambush into which they are currently being lured.
